Going With Eddie 
Selfish, lazy people like those pictured use the Emergeny Gates incessently and everywhere. The alarm can damage ones hearing, and just be disruptive/stressful in general to everyone around. Any idea why the MTA doesn’t enforce the illegal use of the gates – or just turn off the (ignored, and therefore useless) alarms?
