I prefer standing on the subway as sitting, in my opinion, is not good for the back as the subway train ride is usually bumpy. Whenever I see some asshole leaning on the pole, I walk over to the pole, say excuse me, and grab the pole near their back so they cannot lean on it. If they’re listening to music, I move my hand near their back so they have to move. Those people are assholes.
